Anna is a learning scientist and Director of Quest2Teach, designing and researching 3D immersive learning environments for pre-service and in-service teachers. Anna has been researching and creating curriculum for games-based learning for the past dozen years within QuestAtlantis (3D RPG games for grades 4-8), and from there spawned Quest2Teach after realizing the need to bring educators into games and their pedagogies from their initial training. Quest2Teach bridges between educational theory taught in coursework and its application into the field via variety of narrative based 3D role playing scenarios, each with a particular theoretical focus, and embedded within a larger experience-based curricula sand professional network. Anna is also a senior scientist in the Center for Games & Impact and continues to research middle school games within Atlantis Remixed. When not questing, she's probably galloping through the desert on her horse ranch in Scottsdale.
